What does the Torii Means For Japan People? |
||
Really the famous "Torii" of Japanese culture has a great significance for all this people. According to Wikipedia, "it is a traditional Japanese door that is most commonly found at the entrance to or in a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to the sacred." In this way, for a Japanese to pass this door all her being supposedly leave the bad and prejudicial to become something sacred. It is known the philosophical power that the culture of Japan attributes to its symbols and beliefs. It is for this reason that the great Cuban master of karate and creator of the International Karate Federation Do Joshinmon Kai Shorin Ryu, Mr. Felix Puga Hanshi, insisted on everything concerning it, that it be emblazoned with a "TORII" as The principle that by going under this door, the karateka must leave all weak thoughts and defeat to become an attitude of strength, power, sacrifice and high energies for victory during training and after reaching high academic technical levels. Then, the "Torii" that the visitor will appreciate in all our main pages, has the purpose of showing this philosophy of Japan and of producing in the internauts who visit the website of the organization to become virtual winners without borders in all its lifetime. Thus, the website honors its visitors, giving them that great opportunity.
